Offered
for sale is a first edition of “Oliver the Western Engine”, the 24th book in the Railway Series by the Rev. W. Awdry. It comes complete with its original
dust jacket, which has been not price clipped, though it has been scribbled on on the rear.
The book
is good condition overall, especially considering its age. The binding
is tight, and there are no loose or missing pages. There are a couple of grubby marks but overall the pages are clean and clear, with no handwriting or scribbles anywhere.
It also
comes complete with its original dust jacket. This is complete but has been scribbled on on the rear in what appears to be felt tip pen. It is a shame as the dustjacket itself is otherwise in nice condition, and is complete. But please see the pictures for a clear view of the drawings. All in all this is a rare find.
Please feel free to ask any questions, and
please take a look at my other items – including other Thomas / Railway Series
memorabilia. I’m happy to combine postage for multiple purchases.
