Black Powder Bear Head Primer by Artisan William Fluke - Everett, Pennsylvania

Intricate Carving in Elk Horn

9" x 1.25"

Brothers William and Wayne Fluke, with a combined interest in ancestry, European/Early American history and muzzleloading, began making scrimshawed powder horns in the mid-1970's. After a number of years they stopped producing horns due to their "day jobs," but upon their retirements in the early 2000's, they picked up right where they left off. Today, you'll find their intricately carved wooden boxes, canes, knives, and incredible relief carved eighteenth century European staghorn powder flasks at reputable art shows.

They reside in Bedford County, PA.
