* One early viewer tells me that this is a SATSUMA vase... 

* What follows is what I can tell from looking at it (and finding a couple similar items online). 

* Appears to be dated 1932...  

* Seems to be Hand-Painted Ceramic Pottery with Raised Gold & White Highlights... 

* Measures approximately 14" tall X 7" wide (at its widest point)... 

* Top diameter = 4-7/8"... Bottom diameter = 4-1/2"...

USED... I have no expertise in evaluating these items; so, I shall state the obvious... 

Excellent coloration... Exhibits several--what appear to be relatively superficial--chips/nicks in the paint and a few cracks on and around the handles.
