Antique Farm Salvage 3 Cistern Well Water Cups Conveyor Wall Decor Crafts Plants
- These cistern cups came from the cistern that my family used when I was a child. In the 1970s, the pump and the conveyor belt of cups were pulled out of the cistern and the cistern capped since it was no longer used. My mother salvaged these three cups, painted them with flat black spray paint then hung them on the wall of her home until just recently.
- Each cup has the letters "EZ" embossed on them. A little research led to the discovery of the company (O.P. Schriver Company) that manufactured the pump and the cups. This company, located in Cincinnati, Ohio filed as a company on October 5, 1907. The company is currently listed as "dead."
- Small pieces of felt have been glued to the back of the cups so they would not scrape the wall.
- This length of cistern cups measures approximately 24 inches.
