Racing Form/Program, Final Day of Longacres Racetrack 

The beautiful Longacres racetrack's final day, after 59 years of operation, was Sept. 21,

1992.  US Racing Hall of Fame member Gary Stevens flew in to ride that day and was aboard

the final race winner Native Rustler.
