Here we have a very rare Victorian Wiltshaw and Robinson Carlton ware vase with a brown to green mottled salt glaze, finished with hand painted daisies and leaves. In a very unusual shape similar to a gourd with a wider scalloped rim in gold gilding. The neck of the vase has a very intricate gold floral pattern. The makers mark to the base dates this piece between 1894-1926.

This vase is in excellent condition for the age, some general ageing to the gold gilding, no damage or crazing. There has been a bit of museum wax underneath to stop the vase moving while displayed.

Measures approx. 30cm high.
