This 1950's Kathe Kruse Doll Deutsches Kind model VIII Friedebald is a rare find for collectors. Measuring 52cm, this boy doll with beautuful and rare auburn, hand knotted human hair wig and a swivel head in untreated cotton. The face has a rub on the nose and a small line of crazing under the chin and left ear. No crazing or repaint to the face.


Coarse untreated cotton body is in excellent condition. The doll was manufactured in the early 1950's in the VEB Bad Kosen region of Germany and has the stamping on the soles of the feet.

Friedebald wears vintage traditional clothing  which includes lederhosen, shirt and tie, jacket, socks and shoes and a beautiful lined cape. Comes from a smoke free home.
