This vintage Moeck Rottenburgh 239 Alto Recorder is in mint condition. It was bought as a gift in 1976 or 1977, but unfortunately the person was in an accident and it was never given.

The corks are not dry as they have been greased. The only time it was ever played was in the store when it was sold to me in order to show its superior sound. There isn't a mark on the recorder, and other than a few faint marks on the case from being placed on a shelf, this recorder is in mint condition.

The Moeck Rottenburgh 239 Alto Recorder is designed for those who aspire to play music at an advanced level. The Moeck web site lists it as a Professional instrument.

Design: The Moeck Rottenburgh 239 Alto Recorder is crafted after the design of Jean-Hyacinth-Joseph Rottenburgh by Friedrich von Heune.
Material: It is made from Maple Wood.
