This is a simple domestic handrail application which should be suitable for anyone competent at DIY to install. 

The variable angle elbow and lower swivel joint allows you to achieve any angle between 15 & 60 degrees.

 

The double rail handrail is designed to give the user more confidence; the lower rail gives more rigidity to the structure with 50% more fixings than the standard variable angle hand rail kit.

 

If the unthinkable happened and the user was to fall the lower rail would help to prevent them from falling through the hand rail and would make it easier for them to get back on their feet. 

 

The position of the lower rail is fully adjustable; we would usually recommend that it is set in the center approximately 450mm from the ground.

 

The Kit Consists Of The Following Components:

 

1, Upright 33.7mm diameter galvanized tube 900mm long. 

1, Horizontal 33.7mm diameter galvanized tube 900mm long. 

1, Lower horizontal 33.7mm diameter galvanized tube 840mm long. 

2, Galvanized wall flanges. 

1, Galvanized ground flange. 

1, Variable angle elbow joint 

1, Lower rail swivel joint 

4, Nylon fixing plugs. 

4, Fixing screws (number 12 x 2.5 inches long). 

4, Sleeved anchor bolts (for wall flanges).

 

The tools required for installation but not included are: An electric drill, 8mm & 10mm masonry drill bits, a screwdriver and an Allen Key.
