Shimano XTR 950 series front Derailleur.

FD-M953 28.6mm band clamp, top pull lever

M952 was the third and final parent group of the XTR  950 series, M953 was the second phase.

M952/M953 were the first of Shimanos top tier 27 speed drivetrains marketed as Mega9 or M9.

Although it was originally part of a 3x9 27 speed group it will work just as well as part of a 3x7 or 3x8 drivetrain!

Its pre used but in excellent condition, with only very minor cosmetic imperfections and signs of previous usage. (Please see photos)

Constructed with traditional tough alloyed steel change plates, not plated aluminium alloy like the previous super lightweight swing plate design. (See my other listings for various swing plate 950 series FDs)

The plates are in very good condition without any physical deformation just a few bits of (chain) rubbed down chrome plating.
