Shimano Deore XT Triple 'Compact' Chainset. (MY1994 ph1)

FC-M737 SG 42-32-22  175mm crank arms.

Part of Shimanos first 3x8 24 speed Deore XT branded groupset, this Is a phase 1 model identifiable by its blue Hyperdrive-C sticker on the front () and the J-group silver chainrings.

The phase 2 variety have  pink and gold 'IG Chain Only' stickers on the front and are shod with anthraciteygolden K-group chainrings.

Marketed as Compact MTB these were the first and only one piece XT level 5x94mm BCD cranks.

(The subsequent FC-M739-5 is the same fitting but is of a modular 2 piece design, not a traditional mono block like this.)

It's pre used but in decent condition with some cosmetic imperfections from its previous usage/fit up. Light scratches/scuffs/trail rash etc. Both crank arm logos are fully  intact and as dark as the day that they left the factory!  They is some radial sratching (heal rub) but it's only light, and is mainly on the bottom half of the arms. (Toward the pedal end)

All three of the matched XT chainrings are in very good condition  with hardly any noticeable mechanical wear (J32...these second gen SG-X chainrings look like this from new!!) There's just some (chain) rubbed down black anno on the main ring,the teeth themselves are in very good condition. (OEM Al/Al/Fe)

Someone has 'Security marked' the cranks at some point! On one of the spiders legs, and on the crank faces near the pedal bores.

I originally intended on polishing these out but never got around to it, they've been stamped with a post code (????)

All of the fixing threads and both interfaces tapers are undamaged and are in good condition.

Unfortunately ive managed to take out the Hyperglide-C sticker with the air line, I didn't realise that the top film was missing until is was too late (Doh!)

The Chainset will come fitted with all of its correct fixing bolts, not with half of them missing as the photos show!
