Never used, old stock, trunk or chest lock! Marked "Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, Conn. USA" on the bottom piece.  Comes with one original Eagle marked key.  Well made, heavy duty, with excellent brass plating and very minor surface wear.  This lock is nearly mint condition with some age patina!  Same as the Excelsior, Yale, and Corbin locks of this style, so this can replace those.  Attach with trunk nails or rivets.

This is a surface lock which does NOT needs a hole but can be used over a hole that is already there for the top receiver piece. (See pictures for details)  The lock has two moving locking tabs and will lock automatically when closed. The lock is a standard 6" tall and the top piece is 3 1/2" wide and 2 5/8" high.  It's a popular style lock for many trunks of the early to mid 1900s.

This is MUCH heavier weight than the new lightweight reproduction locks.  Also, the old original trunk locks prior to the 1950's didn't have those hasp loops on them as most repro locks do. A great looking lock if you want something original looking for your vintage or antique trunk.  A reproduction lock is very easy to spot on an antique trunk!

A beautiful lock which is rare to find in complete unused excellent condition! Eagle Lock Co. went out of business 70 years ago, so it's amazing to find these locks in great unused condition!  When they're gone, they're gone!
