SL-1300::::>>direct drive and fully automatic operation. On board is an Audio Technica AT13Ea cartridge with the correct nude elliptical stylus. This combination sounds very, VERY good. The 13Ea is an outstanding pickup. I completely disassembled this machine and did a meticulous deep cleaning...removed/replaced old-sticky lubricants...cleaned the pots and switches..cleaned the speed controllers…replaced electrolytic caps on the power board….did some preventative maintenance on the speed selector switch— which always crack on this model..added fresh dampening oil…..lubricated the spindle….added felt pads to the feet bottoms ….and sound/functions tested this for several hours. All functions work as designed—I tracked this at 1.5g. <<>> Condition: the base is very good with some marks and stains along with some corner chipping and scratches (please see pics)…the platter is quite bright with minimal oxidation….the mat is soft and pliable …I put adhesive felt pads on the bottom of the feet (the original felt was deteriorating)….the cover is a new aftermarket cover from JnB Audio ($150)—it seems that the right hinge is ever so slightly bent, as such the cover hangs over just a tiny bit on the right side. I only mention this for complete clarity…..please check the pictures to verify condition of this machine. Taken altogether this is another really nice 1300...….comes with a high quality cartridge …fully automatic...built Technics tough.

I will ship, at the buyers expense, utilizing FedEx to any of the contiguous 48 states. I pack with great care and fully insure for shipping. I use heavy duty boxes reinforced with foam board in the corners. Believe me when I say I Don’t want transit damage more than you don’t. Due to the age of this device and the uncertain nature of vintage electronics this device is being sold AS IS with no returns. This is NOT a new machine...as such, it does not come with any guarantee implied or written.

This machine will come partially disassembled. You will need to mount the platter—and the drive belt in belt drive machines—the counterweight..and in some cases the anti-skate weight. DO NOT operate the machine without first properly balancing and setting the appropriate tracking weight. If you do not know how to do this there are tutorials available on YouTube, or you can call me and I’ll walk you through it.

I appreciate your interest…….please check my other listings…and VINYL ON!
