Item up for sale is a gorgeous vintage bracket style mantel clock made by Linden with a brass Cuckoo Clock Mfg. Co. marked movement. This piece was NOT found with a key and new owner will need to provide their own. Pendulum was found with this clock (brass shows tarnish and patina and entire pendulum could use a polish) and we tested it with our own master key. Winding pegs turned and clock ran for a few moments before stopping. Both winding pegs required effort to turn with the right requiring the most force so this piece will require an adjustment or repair to function as intended.

Glass in the door shows no chips, cracks or breaks needing only a light cleaning. Hands are present and metal dial shows some spots of finish wear with a patina throughout. Wooden body shows finish and wood wear around edges and corners. Metal handle is affixed to the top of the clock casing. Dial and back of the clock's rear access panel door bear made in Germany markings. Metal hinges front door, rear door and metal handle for rear door shows surface rust, finish wear and patina. Interior movement is brass and is marked being made in Germany by the Cuckoo Clock Mfg. Co. with a numerical marking of 72 / 92 / 22. Interior of the rear door has a paper instruction label from the Cuckoo Clock Mfg Co. with the paper showing yellowing consistent with age. Interior of the rear door has two small stickers affixed with writing from the original owner.

Clock body measures 11" top to bottom by 9-1/2" wide across the base by 6" depth at the base. Beautiful vintage timepiece that comes fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
