I’m selling my MG Midget as an unfinished project. I bought the car in 2019 as a rolling restoration but then decided to do a nut and bolt restoration during COVID…but sadly I just don’t have the time to finish the project.

The car has been completely stripped down and I had the shell blasted to take it back to metal (originally Tartan Red). The usual areas needing attention and I started preparing some of the problem areas for welding in new body work. This is where the project has stalled, and I just haven’t found the time to restart the project.

The engine, gearbox, rear axle, heater system, etc have all been refurbished and in some cases, powder coated as well i.e. the rear axle for example.

Both front wings, bonnet, boot, and doors are in good order.

A lovely set of five chrome wire wheels, chrome bonnet locating set, chrome grill and bumpers, etc are in good condition as are the two car seats.

I have a mountain of original / new parts…from a complete set stainless steel bolts for the whole car, new heritage black and polish number plates, set of new silicon bushes , lots of receipts and the vehicle’s past history.

Too much to list and photograph but a lot of expenditure since ownership.

It would be a great project for someone who has the time to finish it.
