Beautiful set of 6 whiskey glasses from the Edinburgh Crystal factory in the sought after Thistle pattern. These are factory perfects as denoted by the made in Edinburgh engraving on their base. The engraving was proof that it passed quality control

These are vintage glasses in excellent condition showing no cracks, chips or damage. Stored in a display cabinet for many years.

The body of the glass sparkles with a facet cut, above which is a row of indents. Both these features serve to provide perfect grip of the glass. Above the row of indents are two pairs of wonderfully engraved thistles.

The maker's mark 'Made in Edinburgh Scotland' is acid etched on the star cut base. Sadly, the Edinburgh Crystal factory closed some years ago, so beautiful glasses like this one are a finite resource. Each piece of Edinburgh Crystal Thistle pattern was handmade.

Glass measures approximately 3.25 inches (8cm) and diameter of 2.5 inches
