If you
like the appeal of vintage used children's toys, then this should have your
attention. Plenty of little things wrong but just enough to give it a nice
rustic played-with appeal.
Probably
something missing from it, like a plate base and cord. The rotary does spin and
then spins back. It does make a little bell noise when doing this but probably
made more of a sound back in the day but still a cute little feature. The
headset also has a little bearing in it making a little rattle noise,
The
paper ring with the numbers had been torn and taped back together - the repair
is only seen on the underside.
No
markings, so unsure who made it or when, but I would guess it was made around
the 1950s when pressed steel toys started to become popular.
Approx.
7-1/2" long and 4-1/2" tall. Weighs about ½ a pound.
