Vintage Penn 285 Fishing REEL + Box + Catalog + Penn Tool Extremely Rare Combo!

This reel has been completely stripped down, rebuilt and serviced with brand new springs, bearings and handle side plate! From inside to out, this is one great reel.

It comes with its original box, tool and the Penn 1964 Catalog No.27. The box is in good condition considering it is 60 years old but does have some cosmetic issues. It appears the original owner  this was acquired from wrote his name on the reel box and marked the page of reel he wanted to purchase, which was this one. Please see photos for details.

For 100% restoration, you would need to replace or restore the spool & 4 chrome post. The reel sits at a 90% restoration as is.

Perfect combo for someone's collection or the reel can be used on the water as soon as it arrives. It is 100% functional.
