Shimano Deore XT 'Mega9' Triple Chainset

FC-M750-5 M9 44-32-22  172.5mm cranks.

Rare 5arm variant constructed in Shimano's Compact  MTB form, like the previous '24 speed'  XT  FC-M737 Triple Chainset.

5 x 94/58mm BCD

The Chainset was part of the first 27 speed Deore XT groupset marketed as Mega9 or M9. They were the last retro XT Cranks to be of a modular construction with a removable mounting spider, (Until the direct mounts of late) they were also the last XT level cranks to utilise a traditional square tapered bottom bracket interface.

It's pre used with some minor cosmetic imperfections from it's previous usage/fit up, light scratches/scuffs/trail rash. Overall I'd say that it's very good condition, the anodising and both crank face logos are fully intact

The original XT Chainrings are all in excellent condition with only a very minimal amount of wear, mainly just rubbed down black anodise! The tooth profiles are in excellent condition, the middle 32 could probably pass for new!

All of fixing threads and both interface tapers are undamaged and in good condition.

Complete with (XTR Style) branded aluminium chainring bolt kit, and factory drilled fixing points for a Shimano chain/bash gaurd.

(These threaded bolt bores are currently blanked, the plugs are removable if required)
