Grundig C409 Automatic Casette Recorder Portable with Mains Lead


This is a great find from 1975.  All functions working well including battery operation, mains powered

use, recording levels and speaker sound.  I cleaned the tape heads, deep cleaned all surfaces and

controls then wiped down with anti-bacterial solution for safety.  Please view pictures for a close up look.  


Description


The C 409 was a standard automatic cassette recorder manufactured by the Grundig Corporation. It was 

a more updated version of the earlier C 400, which was very popular at the time. They incorporated many 

of the technological features of this series into later models. One of the newer features in this series was 

the IC motor control that regulated the speed regardless of the battery charge.
