This jewelry box has Chinese dragons, bamboo, clouds, and other scenery beautifully hand-carved into the wood of the exterior and opens up to a shining red velvet color on the interior. It has 2 long bottom drawers and the top opens out with several smaller components at the top including a mirror and some small ring holders. At first glance, this jewelry box is good as new however please do note that there are some darkened spots on the red velvet I tried my best to picture although they feel clean as can be! The wood also has some small cracks or chips which in my experience is standard for old hand-carved chests but you can check the pictures to gauge how serious they are.
