Information for UK buyers..
Having said all of the above I have got one of these sim cards working and added credit from inside the UK.
These sim cards will not work in UK unless you have registered them and added credit.
This following method of setting up this sim card worked
and was tested from inside the UK.
I am unable to check if you can use this method outside the UK.

You will need an unlocked phone.
It is sold as an Republic of Ireland sim card.
You can add credit in UK using a UK debit/credit card from their website. I used Paypal.

This is the latest tried and tested method used in the UK.
Insert sim, turn phone on and then wait for a message coming through containing your Irish number.
It can take several minutes and you will then know your Irish number.

You can then proceed to add credit and activate the sim card using their website.
Ensure that your phone is set to roam.
Switch off phone and then switch back on.
Wait several minutes.
It will then find a network again.

I used Paypal with an unlocked iphone to do this but this method did actually work in UK in June 2023.
