The Garden Protector 3 from Weitech uses ultrasound to keep annoying animals away. Using ultrasound - sometimes mixed with audible sounds - and constantly changing tone sequences, the uninvited guests are forced to leave the area.

- 7 adjustable frequency settings
- Detection angle 90°
- Easy to attach (assembly aids are included)
- Operates with batteries or mains adapter (not included)

Way of working

The Weitech Garden Protector has an infrared detector that reacts to movements. As soon as the motion sensor is triggered, the Garden Protector emits high-frequency sounds (ultrasound), which are barely audible to humans but clearly audible to certain animals. This deliberately disturbs and scares the animals away.
As soon as the infrared detector registers movement, the device emits approx. It emits ultrasonic tones at a selectable frequency for 7 seconds and then switches to standby mode. If motion continues to be detected, the device will turn on again after 5 seconds and the cycle will repeat.

Requires four D LR20 1.5V batteries. Use quality batteries for optimal operation.
Alternatively, the Garden Protector can also be operated with a power adapter.

Frequency setting (level 1 to 7)

Cats: Levels 1 to 7
Dogs: Levels 2 to 7
Foxes: Levels 3 to 7
Marten: Level 4 to 7
Rabbits, deer: levels 5 to 7
Herons, Raccoons: Level 6 to 7

Level 1 is the highest frequency level (+/- 24 KHz) and 7 is the lowest (+/- 15Khz). Humans can hear up to 20 KHz. It is therefore possible that you will hear a quiet whistling sound in some settings

Assembly, location & instructions

Use the pipe with the tip to position the Garden Protector at the height of the animals you want to repel. Make sure there is no obstacle between the device and the animal, otherwise the motion detector will not work properly and the ultrasound will be deflected. For larger areas or heavy vegetation, it may be necessary to use more than one device.

Always leave the Garden Protector in operation to keep unwanted troublemakers away permanently.
In older dogs or cats, the sense of hearing in the high frequency range is sometimes significantly impaired, in which case the level should be increased. For older animals, frequency ranges of levels 4, 5, 6 or 7 may be necessary. In some cases, it can take up to 2 weeks for the affected animals to change their habits in the long term. To prevent a habituation effect, you can also move the device regularly
