1950S San Francisco Kids Tv Button For Dynamo Dudley Robot Police Button Pinback


1.75 size with name of San Francisco maker on curl star engraving company. The character along with karl The Karrot appeared on the daily kids show “fireman Frank” over station KRON-TV in the mid 1950s. The host of fireman Frank was George.Lemont, a San Francisco DJ who assumed the role after the original host died. Lemont’s humor was appealing both the children and adults and shows included the studio crew laughing off camera at things which probably went over the kids heads. Between cartoons out cane cast of characters. Karl was rather beatnik inspired and wore a pair of sunglasses. According to the Internet, Karl’s dialogue consisted entirely of blubble-lupple-lubble. Another of the cast puppets named dynamo Dudley pictured on this button. But includes the additional text robot police. Also on the show but a character we’ve not seen a button for was a beret wearing jive, talking scat the cat.
