This is the dark spirit of Morana and this is her history as told to me by her former spirit keeper who is a physic medium, who loves to collect anything dark and has to do with the occult. She sent me this doll thinking I would like her. Even though she is a beautiful porcelain doll, I don't like dark spirits. She may be small, but she is nothing to be messed with. 

In the early 1900s, Virginia was a land of contrasts, where the burgeoning progress of the new century met the timeless traditions of the South. A young woman named Morana sought to transcend the ordinary confines of her existence.

Morana was born into a world of privilege in a stately manor on the outskirts of Richmond. Yet, she was captivated by the mysteries that lay beyond the manicured gardens and polished floors of her home. Her fascination with the dark arts began as whispered rumors of secret societies and forbidden books that promised power to those brave enough to wield it.

As she delved deeper into the shadowy realms of magic, Morana’s presence seemed to change. A dark energy clung to her, and those around her began to suffer unexplained misfortunes. Crops failed, sickness spread, and whispers of witchcraft followed in her wake.

Morana’s family, once pillars of the community, became pariahs, shunned by their neighbors and friends. Desperate to save their name, they sought to curb Morana’s explorations into the occult, but it was too late. She had become a conduit for forces that could not be controlled.

One stormy night, as lightning fractured the sky, Morana attempted a ritual to summon a spirit from the depths of the netherworld. The air crackled with energy, and the ground itself seemed to groan in protest. When the storm cleared, the manor was silent, and Morana was gone. The only sign of her presence was a charred circle on the floor of her room, where no light would ever shine again.

The tale of Morana, the young woman who reached into the darkness and was consumed by it, became a cautionary whisper among the people of Virginia.

Almost immediately after I opened her up and put her on the shelf, I felt a dark heaviness come over my home and I could just tell things were not right with her.
