Here we have a beautiful coffee serving set from JLMenau 1777 Graf Von Henneberg produced in west Germany (GDR). They have a wonderful cobalt blue and white country windmill scene, with the scene carrying on around the full cup. I have put a manufacturing date of 1969 but they could well be earlier (not earlier than 1942) or as late as 1972.

• Echt Kobalt translates to “genuine cobalt” in German.
• It signifies that the piece contains real cobalt in its decoration or glaze.
• These pieces are often high-quality and collectible.

You will receive all that you see in the photos:

1x 1.5 ltr coffee pot with lid (the windmill scene is the same on the front and back. There is a blue band around the top of the pot and the finger points of the lid).

1x 250 ml milk/cream jug (the windmill scene is the same on the front and back. There is a blue band running around the top edge of the jug).

1x sugar bowl with lid (the country scene is devoid of a windmill on this piece. It has country houses front and back and sailing boats on either side. There is a blue band around the top of the pot and the finger points of the lid)

12x 200 ml Demitasse coffee cups  (the country windmill scene starts on the front continuing onto a haystack country scene around to the back of the cup. The blue band runs around the inside of the cups approx 4mm from the rim).

12x saucers These are devoid of any scene (giving the set a good aesthetic balance. There are 2 blue bands on these pieces one around the rim and one approx 0.75" further in).

6x side/salad/bread and butter plates (the windmill scene covers the flat of the plate).
