So pretty! Girl's vintage 1970s LONG and MODEST First Communion dress. Made of nylon eyelet lace with sheer ruffle high neck, partially sheer long sleeves, and sheer bottom ruffle. Elasticized waist, back metal zipper closure, and satin ribbon sash. Interior bodice lined with polyester; "satin" polyester underskirt. No manufacturer or size tags. Based upon current day measurements, this is a girl's size 8.

Actual measurements:

- Chest (armpit to armpit on one side) is 14.5 inches. Due to lining, assume total chest measurement of 27 inches.

- Waist (at elastic/sash on one side) is 11 inches. With stretch, assume waist measurement of 22-24 inches.

- Length from shoulder to hem is 41 inches.

- Sleeve length from shoulder to cuff is 16.5 inches.

- This dress is not a good choice for a girl with a thick neck.

- There is no stretch to this fabric.

- Please compare these measurements to clothing your daughter already wears.

This is a used, pre-owned item. It has been soaked, cleaned, and air-dried. It is pristine clean except stain on sash ribbon (see photos) - can be cut off or just replace ribbon. The armpits are not stained, ripped, or pulled. The bottom ruffle has a few tiny holes (non-detracting, see photos). The interior underskirt has a split on the seam (super easy/quick repair).
