No Remote so I was not able to fully test it but I think there  needs to be more glowing buttons next to the power button, judging by my research of similar blue ray players. There are no physical button it's by touch and when I press where the buttons should bebi am bake to open and close the tray. I assume with a Remote the buttons won't be needed anyway.
