A beautiful top quality Antique English Victorian solid sterling silver large wine claret ewer jug, which is of a round tapering shaped body with the lower half fluted decoration with fine beaded boarders.

Stands on a circular shaped pedestal base with fine beaded border and fitted with an elegant ebony handle and finial. 

Comes with a highly polished plain body which is totally free from any personal engravings, initials, monograms or family crests, or anything erased. 

Made from a heavy gauge of solid sterling silver and weighs an impressive 646 Grams.

An absolutely beautiful piece, very rare and in wonderful condition, pure quality and style.

Condition 

Excellent / Exceptional condition, Exterior Silver work is free from dents, dings or scratches,No splits or repairs, pours perfectly with the lid opening and closing as it should do without any issues.

The hinge apart from being a work of art is perfect and free from any play, the Ebony handle is fitted perfectly and also free from any play, finial is without any damage and is perfectly true and straight, ( silver screw and butterfly fixing nut ) 

The interior is in lovey clean condition, totally hygienic and hold up to 1 litre of liquids without any leaks.

Free from any inscriptions, initials, monograms or family crests or had any erased.

Hallmarks to the body and interior of the lid are in excellent clear and readable condition.

The base is true and the Claret Jug / Wine Ewer stands true without any wobbles. 

There maybe some very fine marks commensurate with age, however they would be very minor.
