The bowl is tall and trumpeting, with the high-set beadlines giving way to a strong taper below. Reminiscent of Peterson's "Hansom" shape in the Return of Sherlock Holmes series, this piece forgoes a diamond shank for the rounded variety, replete with a handsome sterling silver band to contrast against the dark, chestnut stain. Only 500 pieces were made in the smooth finish."
