Vintage 3/4 or mid-size Private Label Thoresen Military, Doctors, Nurses watch built by the ORATOR watch company of Switzerland, EXCELLENT mechanical and cosmetic condition, running fine & keeping time

Vintage ORATOR Private label for Thoresen, 

Orator was best known for producing excellent high grade chronograph watches priced into the thousands of dollars.  

All original, 

Swiss made, 3/4 or Mid-Size, high polished Chrome over base metal case with brushed or satin stainless steel screw-down case back, stamped Incabloc, Stainless Steel back, Water Resistant, Swiss made, Anti-magnetic, case measures 29mm wide (not counting the stem & crown by 36mm lug to lug, 

The original dial is in excellent condition with a Silvered background, black enameled Thoresen, 17 Jewels, Incabloc, Water Resistant, Ant-magnetic and outer minute & second track, Bold luminous Arabic minute markers with red enameled sweep second hand, 

This vintage watch comes with a proper period piece New Old Stock brown leather strap, "AND" a New Old Stock (never worn)  matching stainless steel expansion band!!  

It is currently running fine and keeping time!!

Excellent overall cosmetic & mechanical condition


Before listing this item, we did eBay & Internet searches for comps. We did find about 11 from very poor condition under $300. However the ones in excellent condition (like ours) were priced up to one JUST like ours at $1,295 with a written appraisal for $7,000, REALLY???
