3 x Copeland Spode's Blue Italian Small Cereal Bowls - 15.7cm, dated September 54

The blue and white designs which are made famous by the original Spode earthenware patterns are still produced today and used to be processed by the blue under the glaze printing on earthenware from hand engraved copper plates.

Blue Italian has featured around the world since 1816, with the detailed 18th century Imari Oriental border and characterful scene inspired by the Italian countryside.

The bowls are in good condition - other than one of the bowls has a chip on the underside - though it's not visible from the top - there are some light scratches within the surfaces of the bowls expected of the age.

On the reverse on the bowls the date stamps vary in clarity as they were stamped by hand - the clearest bowl is dated S54 - which indicates that it was made in September 1954.

The bowl measures 15.7cm x 3.7cm.

The dishes can be collected in person from N8, North London, or sent via First Class Royal Mail.
