Overall good condition. Page block is excellent condition. Covers have moderate wear. Binding tight. Pages clean, no markings, tears, or creases. Front and back covers have moderate wear - mottled wear to the gloss / scuffing / few scratches & pressure indentations. Lower back cover has a rippled patch, looks like rippling of coating on the cover.

A collaboration between Robert Mapplethorpe and the Belgian artist /playwright / director, who is also known for his ballpoint pen drawings. Reproductions of some of these drawings alternate with Mapplethorpe's photos throughout the book.
The photographs were taken by Mapplethorpe during his stay in Antwerp in January 1985.
