This bid is for a genuine and original WW1 Postcard Photograph of a Scottish Private Soldier, taken in a studio in Edinburg, Scotland. It shows the soldier wearing his Tam O’ Shanter with no badge in view, his Cut-Away Scottish Service Dress Jacket, a 1914 pattern Leather Waistbelt, what looks to be a khaki Kilt Cover and he is holding a Cane. Unfortunately I cannot find any reference to a WW1 military sporran having three long white horse-hair tassels nor do I recognise the Hose Tops but I’m sure someone out there will, and I would be obliged if you could pass on the information to me. Measuring 3 inches x 5 inches, it has a slight crease in the bottom right corner, the four corners are very slightly frayed and the back is a bit grubby but the photograph is perfectly clear and sharp. PLEASE NOTE that I will ship WORLDWIDE except to Russia and will be happy to combine postage. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Buyer to pay post & packing, various methods available, please ask. For UK payments I accept standard issued cheques from any UK bank or postal orders and of course PayPal for both domestic and international payments. For International bids please ask for shipping costs before bidding and I will only accept payment by PayPal in GBP. Please see my other bids. Thank you for looking.
