Beautiful pair of  Philadelphia Manufacturing Co Bald Eagle bookends. The bookends are a patriotic representation of American history capturing the spirit and strength that has made our nation great.  

These book ends have a silver finish, maybe made from Brass or Pewter.  The felt has been removed from the bottom, but each piece has the mark "PMC 114B" on the back and the front displays the year "1776".   They are very heavy and  in great condition.  These pair of bookends make a beautiful addition to any type of home decor style.
