Cartoons from Punch

This antique print is from Punch magazine which was a social commentary publication published for over 100 years, the peak of its popularity was from around the Edwardian period to before the second war, around 1900-1940.. Each issue of Punch would have a cartoon or two within its pages, the cartoon for sale here on this page has been cut from one of these vintage magazines. Often the cartoons are somewhat dated, however some are still amusing today and I think they give a fabulous insight into a world that has now been left behind.
