Super rare IWC, Cal.61 with original black dial and 34.5mm Hermet case. Delivered to Portugal, note the import stamp on the lower right lug.

This is a very rare opportunity to own something that you’ll likely never see again.

I’ve had this watch for around 4 or 5 years personally and enjoyed and worn it a lot, it’s an amazing watch with incredible patina and huge importance.

This calibre alone is not a calibre that was produce for very long (1938-42) and not many were made. This one sits around 1938/9, it is a calibre 61sc. Rarer still, this is the original black dial, something that’s only seen very few times on this calibre.

The watch has been serviced this year and is running as it should.

The case is a 34.5mm Hermet steel case, with a Portuguese import stamp, something very cool to see on an early IWC. The case is in great condition, please see photos.

The original dial has lots of patina and does show marks etc, there’s a few marks near the centre (presumably from removing hands over the years), one mark has been painted over as you can see in the photos, I chose to leave this as it’s the original dial, please study the photos as they are part of the description.

Overall this is an amazing watch and one that’s important in IWC’s history. Not something you’ll likely see again.

I have included some iPhone photos but as iphone cameras aren’t amazing so I’ve also included proper camera photos too. If you’d like more please ask.

Sold as seen in the photos, thank you.
