Tuttle Company of Rutland Vermont and Tokyo Japan dated 1962 and the First Printing (so stated).  The book is bound in brown cloth with a quarter spine in beige cloth and red stamped titles and decorations on cover and spine; it is protected by a glossy pictorial dust jacket and encased in a sturdy cardboard slipcase (typical of the Tuttle Company).  Please see the photos of the Table of Contents and the List of Illustrations for your further information.

Condition:  This book is in very good condition.  The slipcase shows some minor wear at the opening and is a bit darkened (or is that the way it is supposed to be?).  The dust jacket shows some edge wear at the top and bottom of the spine.  The hard covers are pristine-unblemished and unbumped.  Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and many plates are clean and bright throughout.  Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound.  This book is not ex-library or a remainder.

Shipping:  This book will be very carefully packed, with bubble wrap and with solid cardboard for their protection and promptly mailed upon payment.  Please note that I do not charge for packing and handling; all you pay is the postage.  Media mail postage for this medium-sized but thick and heavy hard cover book will be only $6.00.  International and Canadian buyers should be aware that this very large hard cover book will easily exceed the four-pound weight limit for International First-Class mail.  Accordingly, this book will only be shipped internationally or to Canada using eBay’s Global Shipping Program.  Within the US for domestic mailings, combined shipping for multiple purchases is gladly offered.  You will pay full price for the shipping of the first book and half price for any other that same week.  For example, two books with shipping at $4 each will ship for $6 combined.

The eBay site has become so popular that it is difficult to find your way back to a seller with an interesting array of listings.  Please consider “book-marking” my site so you can see a constantly changing inventory of other truly vintage books and/or collectible works.

Please also be aware that all my current listings are “spring-summer season” listings held here in New York.  Once it starts getting cold here in Upstate New York, I will head back to Florida and switch out these listings for another catalogue of different books held there.

Please don’t hesitate to send any questions; I will monitor closely and respond promptly.  Thanks, and enjoy.
