Canadian First World War MkI Helmet.  This helmet is complete with liner and chinstrap.  The shell has been poorly stored in a barn and is missing most of it's former paint.  Different shades can be seen of what is left.  The leather chin strap is dry and cracked but, still holding together in delicate condition.  I would describe the condition salty relic despite it still all together.

This helmet came from the Blezard Estate in the Niagara Region.  Harold William Blezard #3310335 who served with the 54th Battalion CEF in France. Harold was born in Peterborough, ON and resided in Hamilton, ON when he was drafted for military service.
