Ibanez JS2400-WH guitar in excellent condition. This is a 2012 model and production of this white model ended in 2014 so now a collector's item. I have hardly played it since I got it so pretty much new and has lovely low action with superb playability. Only mark is on the top of the body, which I do not know how it got there, but you do not notice because your arm covers it when playing the guitar. I was going to polish it out as it is the lacquer and has not gone through the paint, but decided to leave it. Plastic still on the trem cover on the back. I am only selling it because I have been playing Gibson Flying V guitars for years so prefer 22 frets without a trem, I only bought it because I am a huge Joe Satriani fan.

Comes with the original Team J Craft case and the usual tags/ little bag and trem arm.

A self-proclaimed "vintage guy" Joe Satriani thought it would be "interesting to try to do some crazy things”"play fast things going up and down" on the upper frets of a 24-fret guitar while not having to worry about knocking his knuckles on wood. It's now much easier to hit an E, F# or G with this Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar. The JS2400's Prestige neck has much better clearance, more comfortable, more ergonomic while keeping the basic aesthetic of the JS guitar.

DiMarzio Pro Track pickup

For most modern guitarists, the neck pickup is very important. Joe didn't want to lose that humbucker tone quality and still get as close to the neck as possible. The DiMarzio Pro Track is specially voiced to give Joe a throaty Hendrix tone”it's very close to a PAF Joe that he uses in the JS1200 Signature guitar. The Pro Mark balances well with the DiMarzio Mo' Joe humbucker in the bridge position.

Joe Satriani has used FRED as his main bridge pickup for years. In 2005, Joe asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version to replace the FRED in his Ibanez guitars. The new model called the Mo' Joe is all about tone and definition. Its name says it all. It has more power than FRED but it doesn't sacrifice clarity or dynamics. Additionally, all the harmonics that made FRED so good are all there ready to jump out at the touch of a guitar pick. Having more output makes the Mo' Joe a perfect match for the Pro Mark in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos.

For an expanded tonal palette the Ibanez JS2400 electric guitar includes a push-pull hi-pass filter on the volume control to emphasize screaming high frequencies while the tone control offer coil-spltting for the Mo' Joe humbucker.
