Sweet 14" Kathe Kruse doll IX made in Germany in the early 1940's.

The Kleines Deutsches Kind model has a Stoffkopf (cloth head) and reindeer hair filled body. She wears a hand knotted human hair wig which is a little sparse at the back but no missing plugs.

The swivel head is covered in untreated cotton with a seam.  At the back of the neck there is some light crazing.

The cloth body has a few holes otherwise is in very good condition

The face is beautifully hand painted and there are  no cracks, crazing or restoration as shown in the uv light photo. Small paint loss on the chin.

The clothes are original Kathe Kruse and are in excellent condition except the undergarment has a few small holes in the fabric.
