2011 Isle of Man Turkish Angora Cat Crown Coin in Display Case

This item is an ISLE OF MAN 2011 Cat crown. The 24th of the series, first issued in 1988, which depict different breeds of Cats.

The reverse design depicts two Turkish Angora cats, an active breed, medium in size with long hair and lovely bright eyes. The famous tailess Manx Cat is also depicted in the background.  The obverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.  The coin, struck in cupro-nickel by the Pobjoy Mint, is 38.6mm in diameter and is in nice BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition.

The coin is housed in a slide open display protection case, sized 64mm x 64mm, but can be removed if so desired.

This is a fantastic coin that would make a great gift for a coin collector or cat lover.
