You are bidding on a large original antique print from an 1880s illustrated journal. The quality of the printing from that era was exceptional.

The print depicts five men relaxing in a cabin with their dogs. One plays a banjo (or perhaps an Indian Sitar, swarabat or tanpura), drinking , reading, and smoking. Front and center is a beautiful curly coated retriever. THemen are identified as probationers for the Indian Staff Corps.

The print
is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture with the dog fills the bottom half. The text describes the Indian Staff Corps.

The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print. See scan for an accurate view of the condition.

This print will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
