Offered is an attractive and unusual ityem for the specialist; a piece of matrix approx.14cm X 12cm X 2.5cm,(weight 0.72kg) preserving on both sides, a swarm of six overlapping fish in fine preservation, from the Triassic of saltsburg, Austria.
Three of the fish are essentially complete, and all show great detail of the numerous body scales, skull elements and fins. Preserved in black on a pale grey matrix, these are very displayable specimens. The largest fish, both partials are approx 9cm.
