This is a phenomenal Art Nouveau antique print. It depicts a whimsical scene with flower pixies or flower cherubs (Fairy Pixie) and a poem.
The poem reads:
The violet and the primrose dame,
with modest mien but hearts a flame.

The print has wonderful tones and hues. It is a quality antique chromolith print from a high-quality childrens book. The print is single-sided on thick paper. There is slight toning from age that results in a pleasing cream tone.

The page is in excellent condition EXCEPT for minor wear on the outer edges of the paper (not near the picture). The paper is thick and holds the tones and details well. The page is approx. 7 x 9.25 inches (17.8 x 23.5 cm) with the image approximately 6 x 7.5 inches. The paper is cream colored.
