This print is from a rare portfolio of high quality photogravure prints dating from circa 1912. No automobiles are present in any of the prints in the protfolio. The printing method was the mechanical photogravure-- an extremely high-end printing method of the Victorian/Edwardian era that delivered incredible detail and no dot matrix pattern.
This is a phenomenal antique print depicts a beautiful scenic View of Lake Tahoe California as it looked a century ago.
The print is single-sided (blank back) with wonderful tones and hues. Please note there are small stains on the bottom margin of this print. The paper is thick and holds the details well.
The page is approx. 7.4 x 5.5 inches (18.6 x 13.8 cm) and the actual image size without margins is approx. 6 x 4.2 inches (15 x 10.5 cm).
