6 Elderberry Sambucus canadensis. Cuttings are green to semi-green wood.

Organically grown on my property for over 50 years. They are heavy producers without the use of fertilizers.

The fruit and flowers are used to make pies, wines, candies, beverages, jellies and soaps.

There are many medicinal uses of the leaves, bark, flowers and fruit, but do your research before consuming any part of the elderberry.

Elderberry is a food source for 45 species of birds and white tail deer. It is also sometimes consumed by our sheep and goats.

The creamy white flowers bloom from May to July and occasionally we get a second bloom.

Zone Hardy 5-10

Has excellent heat tolerance.
