This unique offering represents a historical photograph given where it came from.  I personally remember seeing it when I was able to see it next door in the Miller Suite No 9 while occupying Suite 10 The Kraft Suite.  At the time, Suites 1 thru 10 were located in the prestigious Winston Cup Tower which is where this photograph hung for years.  Facing the rising sun from the east this photograph faced the high banked turns 3 and 4 where it has weathered into it's current condition.

Ironically, I was walking through a flea market in Daytona and saw this picture probably around 2011 or 12.  Her story was that she worked events at the speedway for years in the catering business. I know she did because I confirmed she worked for Americrown, a subsidiary of Int'l Speedway Corp at the time.  When asked about the picture and how she came about obtaining it, her response was quite simple.

It was a gift from someone at work.

The photo appears to have been taken in 1988 during the Daytona 500 featuring Bobby Allison driving the #12 Miller High Life Buick owned by the Stavola Brothers Racing.  This car won the Daytona 500 in 1988 representing Bobby Allison's historic "father and son" battle in the closing laps of the event whereby Bobby outdueled a very determine Davey who finished 2nd.  Tragically, a day would come that Bobby would never remember winning the Daytona nor would he ever remember the post race celebration in Victory Lane at Daytona. That happened only months after Bobby's Daytona win and became his last win. "Three-time Daytona 500 Champion" which is in special class all to itself.
