Merchant Navy used officers cap badge from the giant Peninsular & Orient Steam Navigation Company  founded in August 1837 with headquarters in London. Colours of the house flag originated with the early trade of the P&O being the national flag colours of Spain and Portugal.

A very nice worn and tarnished badge totally undamaged and great for a collectors display.
