DESCRIPTION

A scarce copy of this work, published in 1834.

With eighteen tissue-guarded line engravings by E. Goodall, J. Burnes, Geo. Cooke and others from pictures by the English landscape painter James Stark. Collated complete. 

Alongside this collection of beautifully detailed illustrations, are historical and geological descriptions of the various places within Norfolk written by J.W. Robberds.

To the front of the work is a three page list of subscribers.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original paperback binding. Discolouration and marking to boards. Rear joint cracked at head and tail of spine, but remains sound. Wear to extremities. Front hinge strained. The odd spot to end papers. Internally, generally firmly bound; hinges strained but firm. Page containing George Cook's 1833 engraving (opposite Lowestoft Beach) is disbound but present. Scattered spotting throughout pages.
